Only 190 miles and 107 days separate those in New Orleans from the 2nd Annual Hangout Music Festival, and this year’s edition is a massive step up from last year’s already strong debut lineup. Over the long weekend, you might get to see Paul Simon singing “Under African Skies” on the beach, Yim Yames playing “Golden” by the shore and maybe Primus doing Sailing Through the Seas of Cheese in it’s entirety, these things can all be yours for the price of a 3-day band (ok, the last one is a huge stretch). Judging by the lineup and setting, it looks like musical transcendence will not be in short supply come late-May in coastal Alabama...
