As quickly as they rose to a level of stadium rock anthem superstardom, the band has vanished into the history books. Officially announcing on Groundhog Day that their career was over.
The reason:
To preserve what is beautiful and special about the band and have it stay that way.
Here's hoping that they don't return and live out this promise to restore what has been a amazing, influential, brief and prolific career. Something tells me they'll be at Bonnaroo 2020 though as a 'nostalgia act.' I sure hope not, but I'd still be excited.
